No, we guarantee that you will pay the same price or in some cases pay less, than if you book your course directly with the language school.
To register for a course, please complete our Registration Form on UKLE’s website. Generally, an application will only be successful once we have received a deposit, or the full course fees for your chosen course at a language school. Most of the institutions accept payment by credit card, cheque or bank transfer.
UKLE will email, fax or post a course confirmation letter and invoice 2-3 working days after receiving your registration form. Once payment has been confirmed you will be issued with a CAS number. Depending on what you want to do, UKLE can apply for your visa for you, or we will forward you the CAS number so that you can apply for your visa.
We recommend that you book at least 2 months in advance. If you do decide to register within this time, we will endeavour to complete your registration as soon as possible.
To register on any language course you will need to provide us with a copy of your passport. This can be sent via scanned email attachment, fax or post together with your registration form.
Bank Transfer- We will send you an invoice with the institution bank details. You will be responsible for paying all bank transfer charges.
Yes, they are. This accreditation guarantees high standards of quality in English language schools throughout the UK. Therefore, all schools and colleges are subject to rigorous inspection on, for example teacher’s qualifications, administration and welfare of students’ safety and security, classrooms and buildings, academic resources, accommodation, course design and self access facilities.
No; travel insurance is not included in the cost of the course. We do, however, recommend that you take out insurance in your home country or from the language school directly. Ideally, this insurance should cover health costs as well as delays and cancellation.
This is not a compulsory requirement in the UK. However, we do advise that you take it out.
Yes. For approximately £35 you can register with a local doctor on your arrival in the UK. Your school will be able to give you the address for the local doctor.
No. You will need to buy this type of insurance form your home countries.
Yes, you will get a refund, but not for the registration fee or the administration fee. You must send the refusal letter and the original school offer letter back to the embassy, no later than 4 weeks from the starting date of your course.
Yes. Your costs will depend on the location of your airport. Please contact us if you would like to book this service. You must inform us of your flight details including the flight number, time of arrival and terminal number.
This depends on the type of accommodation that you have chosen; if you have chosen half board accommodation with a host family this will include, two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) your room and with some host families laundry. If you choose executive host family accommodation this will include an ensuite bathroom, two meals a day, internet connection and laundry.
If, however, you choose to live in student residences (only available in selective schools), you will have your own room and bathroom, but you will have to share the kitchen with other students and is self catering.
You must inform you accommodation officer at your school.
No. Your accommodation is booked for a set period, which you have advised and must otherwise be fulfilled.
All families are inspected by the schools before they send students to any host family. If there is any issue regarding your host family or any major problem, we will contact your school for you to change your accommodation. In any circumstance we advise that you speak with your accommodation officer at your school.

Yes, but only if you studying for longer than 6 months in the UK. You will need to provide the bank with your passport and school acceptance letter, or any other form of identification to do so.
If you are 16 years old or more, and you have a student visa under the Points Based System, then you are able to work a maximum of 10 hours per week (or 20 depending on your level of studies).
Ideally, you will need an average of £75 – £100 per week in living expenses, but this excludes your living accommodation.
Yes, but this will depend on your circumstances:
12 weeks or more: 2 weeks holiday
24 weeks or more: 4 weeks holiday
No. It is your own personal decision to leave your course. However, you may be entitled to enrol on an intensive course, if you decide that you do want to go home early.
