The following qualifications are an indication of the requirements that you will need to meet in order to access UK universities.  If your qualification is not detailed below, please contact us and we will gladly find out if your qualification is at the right level to study at a UK university.

Undergraduate

In order to apply to most UK universities on an undergraduate programme year one, you will need to have attained the following qualifications:

• Chinese Senior High School Graduate Certificate plus successful completion of a relevant 1st year undergraduate programme in a recognised* Chinese university.
• Diploma from a Specialised College (Zhongzhuan).

If you have not attained any of the above qualifications, but you hold a Chinese Senior High School Diploma, then you can study on a foundation course and then apply for year one entry at a UK university.

Top-up Degree

In order to progress onto the third and final year of a Bachelors Degree (Top – Up) in the UK, you will need to have completed:

• College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/colleges on completion of 2-3 years of study), or
• BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) or Foundation Degree in relevant subjects*

Postgraduate

In order to study on a Postgraduate course at a UK university you will need to have attained:

• Bachelors degree when awarded by a recognised university in China, ideally from a 4 year undergraduate programme, or
• Bachelors degree from Higher Education Self-Study Examinations, or
• Top Up degree/University recognised Pre-Masters Foundation Programme
